Historie:
In 1671 werd er in opdracht van Guilliam Pels zes pakhuizen gebouwd. De pakhuizen zijn elk 10 m breed en 30 m diep. Van de zes pakhuizen zijn er nu nog slechts twee bewaard gebleven (Frankfort en Elseneur). Na eeuwenlang als pakhuizen gediend te hebben, werden ze in 1976 verbouwd tot appartementen, waarvoor een gemeenschappelijke entree en hal werd gebouwd. Om voor voldoende daglichttoetreding te zorgen werden de pakhuizen uitgekernd en voorzien van een centrale lichthof. Vele van de typerende en karakteristieke elementen zijn bewaard gebleven.

History:
In 1671 Guilliam Pels gave the assignment to build six warehouses. These warehouses were all 10 m wide and 30 m deep. From the six warehouses only two of them remained (Frankfort and Elseneur). For ages they have been in use as warehouses but in 1976 they were renovated into apartments. In that time, they gave the building a communal entrance and hallway. They also carved out a central light court for proper daylight entry.
